October 22, 2003 - Murphy Contact
Found on October 21, 2003 a medium 4 yr. old male Terrier mix wearing a brown leather collar with "X" and "O" on it from Briar Grove Lane, Bent Tree West Subdivision, Dallas, TX. Tags have owner's name as Leslie Light but there is no answer at the home.  
October 20, 2003 - Poodle Mix NM/TX Border Contact

Found around Oct. 9, 2003 a small female (possibly spayed) Poodle Mix on I-40 by the New Mexico/Texas Border near San Jon, NM. Rescued from the Highway by truckers, this precious Apricot/White colored pup was taken to the Arizona Humane Society where they await ANY information leading to the whereabouts of her humans.

She is approximately 9 - 10 yrs. old. She was/is wearing a fluorescent pink harness, has beautiful purple painted toe nails, was obviously recently groomed and is wearing a Doggie sweater with the word "Barkiologist" on it.

Found on October 15, 2003 a medium 2 yr. old male neutered Cocker Spaniel/Poodle mix along Cannell Drive across from Brairwood estates, Somerset PA. He is wearing a small green collar with no ID on it. Also small cloth collar with little dog bones on it. Buff colored, sweet dog.

Found on October 10, 2003 a small 12 week old male kitten on Rail Road tracks, Welsh Hill Rd, Friedens, PA. He is solid black. Extremely friendly. Has a broken tail with wound. Took to the vet and tail was removed.

Found on October 3, 2003 a large yellow Lab mix male at West A Street & Pitt School Road, Dixon CA. He is wearing a red collar with no tags. He is a yellow lab possible mixed with a hound. Super friendly & great disposition.

Found on October 2, 2003 a medium 5 yr. old female dog wearing a red cloth with dog bones on it and a 2002 rabies tag. She is black with brown, slightly overweight

Found on September 9, 2003 2 dogs at the Deer Valley YMCA Camp, Mt. Davis Rd, PA. One is a large 3-4 yr. old male fawn- black face boxer. The other is a small young Beagle. Both are wearing collars, found together and owner must describe the collars.

Found on August 30, 2003 a small 3 month old kitten on Grand Central Ave. , Vienna WV. Owner must describe collar. Brown and white, very friendly and looks well taken care of.

Found on August 29, 2003 a small female Chihuahua on Joseph Campau & Caniff, Detroit/Hamtramck, Michigan. She is white with tan ears and spots. Cropped tail. Stitches. Looks like she had puppies recently. Very smart and affectionate little dog.

Found on August 24, 2003 a medium 3-6 month old female Beagle on Rippon Blvd. Woodbridge, VA.  She is brown and white. Very sweet and seems to get along with other dogs very well.

Found on July 13, 2003 a medium female 3 - 5 yr. old Border Collie Mix from Orting Washington. She is wearing a red collar with 2 blue tags. One with an invalid address and phone number and an expired license tag. Long black coat. Very friendly and playful.

Found on July 8 , 2003 an adult male medium cat at Man O' War and Hamburg, Lexington KY. Cream and tan cat with unique points. Talkative and friendly.  
July 6, 2003 - Cairn Terrier Nebraska Contact
Found around June 27, 2003 a small 1 - 2 yr. old male Cairn Terrier wearing a red woven collar with no tags in Nebraska. Wheaten Cairn dark ears, some dark on hind quarters and tail. Very turned out front paws. Some people found this dog at a rest stop in Nebraska, and brought him with them to Illinois to a this person who raises Cairns.

Found on June 9, 2003 a small young adult female Daschund/Beagle/Terrier mix at Roo's Pub at Hidden Valley Resort Somerset PA. She has small amounts of white on toes and docked tail. Recently nursed puppies. No collar no tags.  
June 27, 2003 - Fox Hound Roaring Rock PA ADOPTED
Found on June 26, 2003 a large Fox Hound in Rector area in PA. He is red and white and very friendly. Currently at the Somerset Humane Society! Adopt him today!!! Wonderful dog!!! Just wants lovin'!

Found on June 25, 2003 a large 2 yr. old male Golden Retriever on Southwest Street Bellevue, Ohio. He is wearing a red nylon collar with no tags. He is mostly red, very friendly, thin weighing 72 lbs. Was limping when found but vet feels it is a pulled muscle. His nails are very worn so may have been on his own for some time.

Found on June 25, 2003 a medium female Pit Bull mix that looks to be around 4 yrs. old around Sycamore Creed area, off of Hwy 41 A in Pleasant View TN. She is wearing a very faded and worn sky blue collar. She is mostly tan with white around the next. Very friendly, well mannered, wants to come in house, sits on command.

Found on June 18, 2003 a medium female Labrador Retriever wearing a white flea collar on Jameson Pass, Alpharetta GA. She is an old female that is light beige/yellow color. White face. Callous joint.

Found on June 5, 2003 a large 1-3 yr. old female Labrador Retriever- Chocolate on 1-40 near the Westel Road & Airport Exits, Rockwood Area, TN. She is a little faded in color on her body. Her face is somewhat darker. She looks healthy and has a great appetite. She was timid around other dogs, but she is friendly with people.

Found on June 1, 2003 a male lab mix on Rt. 711 near Keller's Greenhouse. All black with a little white on his chest. He is wearing a red collar. Very friendly and LOVES to jump straight up! Currently staying with Operation K.O.N.A.

Found on May 21, 2003 a small 6-8 month old Female Miniature Pincher/Lab Mix in the Readings Mill Area, MO. She is wearing a small fabric collar with multi color butterflies on it. Very cute and energetic dog.

Found on May 12, 2003 a medium female Lab/Pit Mix on Trolls Lake Road, Somerset PA. Approx. 1 1/2 yrs. old She is wearing a red cloth collar with no tags. She is very dark brown medium build with small tuft of white under her chest. In heat! Friendly.

Found on March 3, 2003 a medium 3-5 yr. old female cat at Otsego Street, North Hollywood, CA. She has white fur with gray patches. Aqua-marine eyes and is very affectionate.

Found on March 23, 2003 a medium 1-2 yr. old male possible Shiba-Inu/Chow mix dog in Merrillville Indiana. He is neutered. Very friendly, about 40 pounds. Housebroken, well behaved, have never heard him bark. Loves to ride in car.

Found on March 24, 2003 a female Retriever/Setter(?) mix wearing a black collar, no tags but "S" hook is attached, on Laurel Run Rd., near the Oakhurst Tea Room Somerset PA. Very friendly, has some grey hair around her muzzle and seems to be approx. 5 yrs. old.

Found on July 7 , 2002 a female approx. 1 yr. old calico in Warren OH. Very nice, friendly calico cat. She's talkative and is a lap cat. Seems like she was raised indoors. White with black and orange patches.

Found on March 19, 2003 a male cat along Fike Hollow Road. He is wearing a pink flea collar. He is medium size, sort of cream color with yellowish eyes and quite friendly.

Found on February 15, 2003 2 beagles at Mason Dixon Hwy, Berlin PA. A 1yr old male wearing a pink collar and a 1 yr. old female wearing a blue collar. Both are tri colored and look to be full blooded. NOTE: These are not the missing beagles in Somerset, PA.

Found on January 12, 2003 a male 2-3yr. old neutered male Siberian Husky in Red Bluff, CA. He is black/gray & white with tan/beige under coat. He is approx. 45lbs and is a bit skinny (backbone, ribs and pelvic bones are prominent.)

Found on December 22, 2002 a large male cat that is black with a white mustache. His paws and chest are white. He was found on Frederick, Hoffman Estates Illinois.
