These programs along with ACS have made these deployments somewhat bearable, because it gives Families the opportunity to reintegrate in an enjoyable environment alongside other military couples. I wish there was a way the military can keep these programs ongoing.

I am no longer in and we are doing allot better, thank you. Don’t get me wrong though. I may have some bad things to say about my time in, but I do not regret joining. The problem is individual, not the whole military. Its a fraction of the military who make it hard for others. But there are others who go out of there way to help those struggling with financial and emotional issues, when other will not. They go above and beyond the call of duty, sometimes even using there own money. I am always grateful to that flight chief I mentioned, who did so much for my family.

Thanks for sharing. We hope things are more stable for you now. We are very grateful for members of our military, like you, who push on to serve, in spite of many challenges.

My bank account ran low because my Squadron forced me to buy some of my own gear for a deployment I was OMW too. In rout to the deployment, my luggage was lost. That includes clothing, uniforms, sanitary items, and everything else important. I had to again spend my own money to buy clothing just to have something to were while I waited for them to find my bags. Then my wife ran into financial problems, unable to afford food for the house. My home station flight chief hooked us up and helped my wife with food (he did allot for us, he was not the problem). But I got paperwork (from my deployment leadership), being told it was my fault, when THEY forced me to use what little money they paid me to buy gear they were supposed to provide me and to replace items they were supposed to replace.
